Hi Brian, Only 3rd Edition phones. Talks V4.00 is required to run it. You can get it the same places as Talks. You can go to our web site, http://www.comproom.co.uk <http://www.comproom.co.uk/> and download Talks for 3rd Edition phones, and you will find D2Go in there. If you want to go down the unbranding route, I suggest you ask around in your local town centre or high street, there may be a mobile dealer who can do this service for you, though expect to pay around 20 to 35 pounds for this to be done. If you haven't a problem with sending the phone off, www.fonefunshop.co.uk offer a service where for £20 including return post, they'll unbrand and apply the latest firmware for you. As for backing up your phone, I don't know whether after having changed the firmware version and branding whether you will be able to restore your backup to phone memory. My personal advice to you would be to back up your contacts, calendar entries etc as at least these can be restored irrespective of the firmware version. All you will then need to do is install talks but as I said, I don't know and I am erring on the side of caution. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: Carol Pearson <mailto:carol.pearson29@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, March 18, 2009 4:59 PM Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Firmware Update Hi Ibrahim, Thanks, at last, for that understandable explanation ... phew!
