Thanks Andy. I have switched before so know the process, if I choose to do that.

Carol - Don't know if this helps, but I'm with T-Mobile,
currently on a sim only contract [can be cancelled with
months notice] paying £15 per month, this gives me 350
minutes, and unlimited texts, and if I use WFA or any
kind of data transfer, it cost up to a pound per day,
it's quite easy to reach that pounds usage, but after
that, there is no further charge for that day. I have
also used WFA on T-Mobile on a strait PAYG deal, for the
same max pound per day charge.
I know you said you don't want to switch from O2, but
it's quite easy to do, if you really can't get what you
want from them -
Andy

By the time you finish going through to the fifth person
... you don't know whether you're on your head or your
heels!
Thanks, anyway, Steve, I did know this and tried loads
of times to explain ... all to no avail really.

Hi Carol,

I don't know the answer to your O2 question, but it is
not GPRS support you need, it is what is known as the
full data package. You may need to be on contract to get
this.

All the best

Steve

PROVIDER

Hi all,

I have been with O2 as a Pay as You Go customer and,
after speaking to five people, I have finally learned
that, well, according to the fifth anyway, I will have
to go onto contract in order to have the necessary GPRS
support. If anyone else is using O2 with Wayfinder, are
you able to confirm that this

is in fact correct? I really wanted to stay with PAYG
if possible but maybe

it isn't, so thought I'd just check out you
knowledgeable folk to see if anyone else knows
different.
Thanks lots for any comments.
