You are probably right there Steve. I would say however, that the vast
majority go for Eloquence.

    Hi Barbara,

The only problem with that is that if a customer installs a demo and starts
using a Realspeak/VCM voice, they may not be aware that there are others.

As a dealer, I always try to make them aware and ask them which voices they
want. I think the onus is on you, not the customer to make them aware of all
their purchase options.

    All the best

    Steve

I am aware of that as you know, but unless a customer states otherwise, the
assumption is that they want Eloquence. I think the onis is on the customer to
say otherwise if they want differently.

      Hi Ibrahim,

You can choose from us too. Barbara, you just need to tell us which
voice you want when you purchase.

      All the best

      Hi Barbra.

Not so. If you go to www.talknav.com, you can choose the voice that
talks comes with at time of purchase.

        Carol

If you don't request otherwise, TALKS comes with Eloquence. That voice
is included in the price. As has been said, additional voices are extra. So you
do have a voice package, the one which came with TALKS at time of purchase.

If you didn't know you could get voices, then how do you use TALKS?

                Hi Carol.

That is simply not the case. When you buy talks, you can
choose whether you want the vocalizer/realspeak voices or the eloquence voices
at time of purchase. If you choose one, you can use those voices in perpetuity
unless or until you decide you want to buy the other voices in which case
you'll have both sets of voices to choose from.

                All the best, Ibrahim.

voices, are we all made of money? Carol

                    Steve,

You must first buy a license for it to use any of the real
speak or vocalize voices.

These are on sale from any of the UK dealers and are priced
at around £35 or so.

Hi, I've installed a vocalize voice on my N85 and
everything went OK, but how do I use it? I can't find any option to use this
voice! I thought I'd be able to change to it within the talks settings, but no
joy...any help please? Cheers Steve.
