Hi Barbra. As an additional piece of advice, try speaking slowly and clearly. I know the temptation to speak normally especially as that's what's encouraged is strong, but if you take care to annunciate your words and speak clearly, the better the chance of getting accurate results. Remember, its not Dragon Naturally speaking, it has to send the voice samples to a server to be recognized over a mobile connection, so your voice is compressed in to the bargain. Its a baby at the moment, but in my view has great potential and I'm already using it to send quick text messages and dial contacts, well worth the £12.99.
All the best, Ibrahim.----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Wilson" <barkingbabs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I do not think your NI accent isthat strong *smile*. What about my brogue? Well I haven't given it a gobut thanks to you and others now I have at least got it on to my e71. I am a little perplexed about it on the N95 as it did say on the site that it wassupported but I cannot get past that bit where you are setting it up and have to press the key on the side of the phone. It just does not getactivated on my N95. If anyone has an N95 Standard I would be interested tohear from you if you have managed to get Vlingo working on it.----- Original Message ----- From: "Barbara Wilson" <barkingbabs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>To: "Talks-uk" <talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, November 05, 2009 1:01 PM Subject: [talks-uk] VlingoAfter all the emails on this app I thought I might as well give it a try onmy E71. Very easy to install and set up. Also easy to use after reading instructions which I actually did for once. Not sure how others who don'tspeak in perfect BBC english have got on, but I found it doesn't work wellwith my northern irish accent. Some very interesting and amusing interpretations of words. I guess this is to be expected and allowed for given the range of local accents across the uk. not sure if it recognises your words better after use. If not, then it would be difficult to use it without reading text through afterwards and correcting mistakes. Thusprobably taking more time than it would have to simply type the text in thefirst place. So overall a good little program which will save lots of time if it respondswell to your voice. Maybe I should take some eloqution lessons?
