A friend whilst upgrading the firmware , damaged the phone and subsequently had to get a replacement. When installing Talks, it comes up with the Nokia TTS speech engine and he is unable to install the eliquence speech engine. Does anyone know what he needs to do or can pinpoint where to get some guidance? regards David Quarmby quarmby@xxxxxxxxxxxx 07736 087019 Inclusive Design means that all products, services, environments etc., should be accessible and usable by the majority of people to the greatest extent without the need for any adaptation or specialist design. ----- Original Message ----- From: Barbara Wilson To: talks-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2008 9:53 AM Subject: [talks-uk] Re: Upgrading my phone Kevin If it's a flip phone that works well with TALKS, check out the Nokia 6290. The audio quality is fantastic and the response time with TALKS is excellent to. I use Talks and am with Vodafone. The phones I'm considering are the E65, which I believe has a flip-down keyboard and the N91 and the N95. Do all these phones work well with Talks and are there any disadvantages with any of them, both from the point of view of using Talks and the reliability of the phone. For example, I've heard that the battery life on the N95 is poor. Is this still true, or has this been fixed. Many thanks.
