Hi Neil.

You get about 8 hours for the breeze on 1 battery.

As for limitations, I happen to know that they are in private beta testing
stages for a new update. As for what that update contain I have no idea but
that's 1 thing I do know.

Personally I find it pretty good to use. It's different from access yes but
the instruction it gives is very clear to be honest. A product like that can
only get better.

So what about how it looks or doesn't look, the important thing is whether
the technology does the job that the advertisement says it does. From the
usage that I have had these passed few months I can say yes it does without
a doubt.

that's not quite fair though is it Darren, you are talking about a blind
specific product in Trekker Breeze, with blind friendly bright and bold
buttons and a bigger than necessary, look at me, I'm blind build quality and
design to it.

plus Breeze is only a GPS, its not perfect at that, and has some limitations
that Geo and other full accessible GPS products do not.

Geo on the other hand is yes about a grand for the full solution, but Breeze
is not half, its like £600 isn't it?

Geo works on a phone which has also the ability to be a phone, SMS< e-mail,
music player, radio, internet device and much, much more. Breeze is, well
Breeze, nothing more nothing less.

If you want a small light weight device for your pocket that does not scream
I'm blind, Breeze is not necessarily the option for you.

Also battery life is another factor, a Geo solution on the phone we
recommend will allow for in excess of 15 or so hours, how many do you get
out of a Breeze constant use?

Neil Barnfather

Hi,

This is the problem,

For you to transfer over from talks to windows you're talking about £1000
give or take. Where as the trekker breeze from http://www.humanware.com is
half of that and it's a dedicated gps. If you decide to go that route then
send me an email off list and I can give you some useful information about
it.

But I' am afraid , I' am primarily a talks premium holder ; and these
are essentially a code factory products.
