Hi Eleanor,
As I understand it, you can only read word documents in edit mode. Since you
can't edit on the trial version, I am pretty sure you're going to have to
buy it.

No Steve it is possible I know for definite to be able to listen to a word
document though not possible to Edit it without having to purchase.
