hi Justin,

I believe you can achieve this by creating a new profile (exactly like the
default), and re-naming it to

'.'. You could also re-name your existing profile. As long as the profile
called

'.'. is currently active, that should stop the date announcements. HTH

Cheers,

Mark

Subject: [talks-uk] Stop saying the date each time.

Hi everyone,

I remember when I first had talks on the old n-gage that, whenever you'd go
back to the main window, it would say something like "Orange window, key 1,
contacts etc."

I've noticed with later versions of talks, the date is now included in the
announcement.

So, how would I stop talks from anouncing the date each time I go back to
the main window?

Any help/advice, would be great.

Thanks

Justin
