Hi Dave,
Yes, they are, but you have to do it twice.
First time you do it, you do it in the main phone screen.
Second time you do it, first type a digit into the main phone screen, this
brings up a slightly different screen. Now press Talks Menu to get into
Talks, and redo your dictionary entries. Remember both times to press
Options, then Save from Talks when you have completed each entry.

Alexander,
I had to change every day by removing the abbreviation example SU for
Sunday, and replace it with the full name of the day. The problem is once
the phone has been switched off the new settings are not saved.

Hi Pritesh, I have just seen David Stephenson's message and your reply.
In your reply, when answering David's question, you actually answered the
same question for me. Thank you for that.
However, I wonder if either yourself or someone else on the list, could tell
me whether there is a way to make the same change for all days of the week,
as, I have done it for the example you gave, but it does not seem to apply
for other days, even though I set it to either phone, or global, I can not
remember which.
