Possibly, but it's still covered by law in this country if you purchase
the phone legitimately. They have to honour the 12 month guarantee.
Otherwise they can't sell here. Which makes sense if you think about it
because if that wasn't the case then play wouldn't be able to sell any
phones of that type because nobody would buy them with that sort of
deal. It would also give play a bad reputation as well and any company
that would sell stuff like that over here.

All I can tell you is what Play say, and when you sent your phone to us
for install we noted an Asia product code, and since you got yours from
Play this proves it...
Whilst they may not have charged you, I'm not saying that they will,
just that they might. Did you not say though that your repair took a
long time, longer than you'd have expected it to? They probably shipped
it home and back again.

They are neil, I bought mine through play and sent mine off to be sorted
out and it was free of charge. Worked fine for me. So clive you
shouldn't have a problem.

Those phones which sell through Play.com are not UK models, thus if
something goes wrong are not covered by Nokia UK for warranty, thus
you'll have to pay a lot more for repair if it goes wrong...
