I do not totally agree with what you say Caroline. If Carla deletes the message from phone only and the header remains, this does not automatically download again the next time, though not having deleted it from the server, it is readily available to be called back again. That is of course provided that Carla does not go in to her e-mail on her PC, in which case, the e-mails are downloaded to the PC and the next time Carla connects via her phone, they all just disappear in to cyberspace *smile*. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Caroline Ford" <caroline@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hello Carla,

When you delete an e-mail, at least on my N82, you have the option to delete
either from the phone only or from both the phone and server. You need to
choose to delete from both the phone and server or the message will just be
downloaded again the next time you connect.

Caroline.

Hi,
i have found that when i have downloaded and read my email, i disconnect and reconnect and although i deleted the emails when i read them, they are still
there after the reconnect. Is this because i'm not leaving it long enough
before i exit? Although talks says it has disconnected, is there a delay
which i don't know about?

Thanks,
Carla.
