Hi Steve

The E71 has a qwerty keypad and this is why I think it is different. I know it
is usually # which is actually bottom right, but on the E71 this simply types a
' symbol.

Thanks anyway.#

Hi Barbara, I don't have the E71, but on the N85 you can press the "#" key
(bottom left key) to toggle between choices like "dictionary lower case,
dictionary upper case, numbers, upper case and lower case". So, if you have
predictive text on and then you don't want to use it, simply press that key
when in a text field to change it to lower case. Predictive text would be
"dictionary upper/lower case". HTH, cheers Steve.

Does anyone know if there is a shortcut key for switching on and off
predictive text on the E71? Want to be able to turn it off sometimes without
having to go to settings.
