Well not the professional advisor clive but I would get hold of another phone, even if you can get someone to try it out without Talks if it is there phone if you understand what I am saying. Then you will be able to establish if it is the router or the phone. I am inclined to think now from what you say that there may be an incompatability issue. Hello Eleanor, I have tried again this morning and the only network I can pick upconstantly is a BT Home Hub. I managed to pick ours up briefly a few timesand one time long enough to set it as an access point, but still cannot establish a permanent connection. By the way, our new Asus router uses the faster N connection, so am wondering if this is incompatible with my phone, which, after all, is overthree years old. Perhaps one of the experts on the list can advise me what to do next. I am prepared to go for a later phone which supports Talks, butnot a touch-screen model. Best wishes, Clive Pallett
