Just a quick update here- the snow began here in Norman around 11 a.m. and is
expected to go off and on throughout the afternoon with a 1-2 inches of
accumulation. Roads are slick here and expected to be so through rush hour.

Subject: SWACUHO Exec Weather
All-
Our weather experts here at the National Weather Center are predicting
temperatures below freezing on Saturday- travel day for most of you. Please
keep an eye on the weather- particularly in the Central Oklahoma/Oklahoma City
metro/I-35 corridor.
They are concerned about freezing rain/Winter Mix. We will be keeping an eye
on things for the next several days and will get updates to the lists as
quickly as we know anything. Also you can check the OU Emergency Preparedness
Facebook page to see updates on the weather from our campus meteorologist, Dr.
Kevin Kloesel. He works closely with the National Weather Service as well as
our academic department.
We will have made the decision to not schedule registration times for Saturday
to allow everyone traveling to just take their time and not be worried about
getting here to get registered. Our staff will be ready to go and excited to
see you all on Sunday and we will have everything up and going for you at noon.
Please be safe in your travels and make the best decisions for you and your
staff.
