Although I still do sugar rocketry work, and have lots of plans for future
sugar propellant research, I have directed most of my recent (past couple
of years) rocketry time into APCP development. Personally, I would love to
discuss this topic if the list moderator would approve this line of
discussion on SugPro.

Hi Richard
I would love to talk a bit more about AP propellant. Could AP making be
considered or is it a sensitive topic?

Nothing in particular, its just that this discussion list has been very
quiet the past couple of years and I thought it just *might *be time to
expand the list's mandate. Perhaps sugar propellant discussion has run its
course, I don't know. But as you point out, there is the arocket list...I
don't know how active that list is. I quit that list some twenty years ago.
That said, having two discussion lists on ex rocketry in general may not be
a bad thing.
Alternatively, how might we revive active discussion on sugar rocketry?

Richard,
Are there topics you've been wanting to discuss that you felt were
inappropriate for this list?

Steve - This list has been very quiet these past few years, maybe because
we'll all sugar propellant experts by now :-) I wonder if its time to
expand this list's direction to be more general with regard to rocketry.
There's a lot of very knowledgeable people on this list and, being an
e-mail list, is a far better format than a 'forum' (IMHO). And, as Azadul
said, the members are "more knowledgeable and responsive".

Traditionally it has been limited to sugar propellant and motors made

Just curious, are we allowed to discuss only propellant in this forum
or we can discuss other aspects of experimental high powered rocketry?
I find the members here more responsive and knowledgeable than other
forums.
Thanks.
