Sean does not think there is coastline closer. More importantly, even if he
did, he's already traveled to Ezanus's lair, and he wants the party to take
that route, to maximize the chance of encountering the elves. If there was
closer coastline, he'd have to blaze a new trail, making the journey slower.
Bigger question would be who we bring along. We have but three horses
currently in the cove, but they would be of some help carrying back any loot.
And make no mistake, there will be loot. So we should bring some non-OG to
watch the horses, safely away from the lair.

I suspect Elmore, with help from companions may end up having to

militaristic as the model in the dm guide as it may be difficult keeping so
many followers in the same place. Could be, they are marshaled in times of
need and the bulk of them disband to attend small churches in the
surrounding countryside when a major threat is over.
