Elmore describes the woman seen posting them and having stashed some near
Xander's mentor's library/bar in supply ships along with what he discovered of
the general direction they lead him to. May well have been the Huntress. She
seems to have been changing her hair color a good deal at the time, having had
a hand in killing your earlier ships wizard in hopes of delaying your
departure to hunt pirates. I think they know you don't leave port without a
ship's wizard on staff.
OOC I could not remember the details Elmore discovered with his find objects
spell along with descriptions of what he saw and found out. It's been months
real time.

Pomeroy will encourage Jethro to take the freed captives to Aarell in order to
please Farab. It appears they know each other. Xander will realize the damage
is mostly superficial, but the several lines need to be repaired with weather
mending or splices. Jethro will thank Elmore for ministering to the injured. A
couple of devil fish tridents are still on deck. A fair amount of blood is
staining the deck as well. Jethro is more than willing to return to Aarell in
trade for an attempt at the dragon. He is willing to come back and hang out
here while you are gone or even ferry you closer to its lair if you wish.
Ridding the area of the dragon would most likely please the earl as well and
that might help the Lord Mayor get Hagar's land grant solidified as well.
Jethro will also point out there are more of the wanted posters of Hagar
floating around. He has no idea who the Carl guy is, but he clearly dislikes
Hagar.
