Artor wanted Elmore to be the group's shepherd and them to be his flock. I
may have Matilda set up a scriptorium in the crypts we discovered Zazerial
as a basement to an abbey she may establish when it is time for her to
branch out. She has fewer direct relations with our group than Elmore has.
It's sort of considering a move that would keep more of our people united.
Bonaluria may not like it, but it is one of those reasons he's allowed her
a growing staff, so on the possibility that we move, she'll be a bit less
isolated, closer to her former ladies in waiting, house staff available. I
think the big thing will be Kendrick. He's been a bit like a brother or
father to her with his gentle ways. It may not be until the Cove is a bit
more stable and civilized before a formal move is made. Elmore would
probably include a list of scroll materials to anyone headed north if he
has sufficient funds after payroll etc.

It's more than that with Carandolana. If advancement stays consistent
she's going to reach a point where she's got lower level druids as
attendants. In some ways her ambition is as high as Elmore's -- she's
heading for the top of druidic levels. So for a while she'll have to put up
with more structure, and that's assuming she doesn't get recalled to
Stoddard like Oakman did. However, she's got a charge from her goddess, so
that may change a few things.

I suspect Elmore, with help from companions may end up having to build up
a local structure from near scratch. He looks for willing pupils to take on
the mantle of junior priests he can begin training in his down time.
As per book, when he creates a temple, he’s supposed to gain both troops
and I think some priestly help but so far from the mainland, that may be a
question Nicole. Then, he hasn’t met the elves Sean has met yet either or
know which gods they follow or how far from the Cove or RL they are. Now
perhaps you understand why Elmore is closer tied to civilization and it’s
trappings than Cara likes. She needs a circle and maybe a few wild land
animal followers and she’s set. Things aren’t so simple for him and he’s
tried to explain it that even a church of a chaotic deity needs at least
SOME structure. I don’t think a chaotic deity’s church would be as large
and militaristic as the model in the dm guide as it may be difficult
keeping so many followers in the same place. Could be, they are marshaled
in times of need and the bulk of them disband to attend small churches in
the surrounding countryside when a major threat is over.
