DR Many thanks for your reply. However as you can see RG got it as a JPG attachment and I got it with out knowing what kind of attachment but it was unreadable until I zoomed it to 50% and hitting the middle enlargment block. Don't know what you mean email client, it went from printer scan to Lap Top, found it in Documents and attached it. Funny part is that it went perfectly before which I presume everyone got but then this last one suggested software and wouldn't go? Did you get several scans from me in the last few days? Obviously you have scanning softare. I'm guessing the error was that you didn't have your email client correctly configured. Can you scan the document, and save? Then just attach the file you've saved. Most common operating systems make this easy because you can find recent files simply under "Recent Files". I try to save them in an orderly fashion. I'm am just sending the file so that someone will have it and I have the file elsewhere but I do not want to keep it, I save it to My Documents subfolder temp which I make for this reason. When space becomes critical I just empty the temp folder in My Documents. A better description if this doesn't solve the problem. 73 DR =30= On Mon, Jan 28, 2013 at 10:14 PM, <_Sblumen123@aol.com_ (mailto:Sblumen123@xxxxxxx) > wrote: RG and the rest of the gang I scanned and emailed to aranet a Miami Herald article "Foreign minister: I joked with Chavez during visit" and it appeared to go through. Now I tried to scan another item and my printer sez my Lap Top doesn't have the soft ware necessary? Would appreciate a response. Many thanks Comrade B
