      2020 Pulitzer Prizes

Today's site from journalism's Poynter Institute offers the list of this year's 
Pulitzer Prize winners. Gentle Subscribers will find this an excellent 
reference for tracking down meritorious journalism.

"The Pulitzer Prizes are generally regarded as the highest honor that 
U.S.-based journalists and organizations can receive." - from the website

With an eye to the various categories for which achievement is recognized, this 
presentation notes the Breaking News Reporting, Investigative Reporting, and 
Explanatory Reporting among the 16 specialties. In each category, brief details 
of the finalists and the winner are given, along with links to the appropriate 
publications where all these articles are freely available. Notable in this 
year's awards was the prize for a new category -- Audio Reporting, which is 
accompanied by the story of its journalistic recognition.
