Could someone please explain how to work out those %'s on the calculation 
sheet.  Its double dutch to me as I am used to working in ml & gms

Hi Louise
Sorbitan Stearate will be gritty if not heated enough. Traditionally
when you use Polysorbate 60 and Sorbitan stearate you also add
cetearyl alcohol also to stiffen it. Look at the percentages in this
cream recipe:

You can also use xanthan gum or natural gel in the water phase instead
of cetearyl alcohol to stiffen the lotion.  To get the weight for
small batches such as 200 gms you probably need to invest in a gram
scale.
