When rebooting wait a minute with the computer off so whatever bad

Greetings!
I tried Jude's ntpd command and rebooted. My time is still an hour late. I
gather I may need to get a handle on the date command, which I've rarely used
for anything other than checking the date. As usual, thanks, and I'll
appreciate any other suggestions.
Best!
Al

You ought to have had a timezone-data file in your most recent system
update. Could be such an update is needed to adjust the time correctly.
