Hi Scott,              I don't remember assigning a date to the tape. It must
have been a while ago.Question: Is John Kennedy introduced from the audience ?
Usually the official date forthat moment is 2/7. I do know that Mondays were
usually dark at the Sands. Or some-one subbed for the headliner(s). I can't
imagine how an hour special would be able todo all the required editing on such
short notice in 1960. There are three line recordingsfrom the engagement. I
just found a review from the Vegas Sun. They state, in theirreview, that the
Summit ran from 1/20 through 2/16, I was unable to copy.

Closing comedy bits with allAt the end, Joey introduces Jackie Bright president
of AGVA (American Guild of Variety Artists) who presents Frank with the AGVA
award for Outstanding Singer in America for 1959.  Joey also interrupts Frank
during his acceptance speech to tell him the acceptance of the Award will be
televised on ABC on Wednesday and they have to switch to a different microphone
so it will be picked up.

This concert was originally listed as November 1, 1959 but Ed O'Brien, was able
to determine this show was the third on February 7. 1960 and the AGVA was aired
on February 10th with Ed Sullivan as host.  The AGVA awards were actually aired
on February 17th, 1960:      If Joey also interrupts Frank during his
acceptance speech to tell him the acceptance of the Award will be televised on
ABC on Wednesday then is it possible that the above concert was perhaps later
than February 7th?  Scott
