Actually, it probably will not be easy to find those versions online
anymore.

As for contacting, call 888-4sibelius, which works out to 888-474-2354. In
order to beat the automated system you'll have to use option 7. Sometimes,
if you actually get to speak with a real person, your call might be routed
to the UK, and time zones become more of an issue.

Regards,
Dale

Thanks for your prompt response Dale,

do you know if I have to purchase it additionally or if there is some way to

have it as part of the 7 package I have already? I'm sure I can find it
online for an additional cost, but does anyone know if or how to contact
sibelius directly and see if they are willing to send me a downgrade?

Barbie,

I certainly don't want to rain on your parade. I know firsthand what it is
to have the dream of writing music independently. Nor, though, do I want to
have you find out the hard way. Since there are no scripts for Sibelius 7,
even though this latest version of the scoring software has a few speech
accessibility features--so they say--it will likely not work well enough for
independent use. And you're right, it's much more difficult now to actually
speak with someone by phone about Sibelius. Dan Rugman has done some work
toward public release of scripts for version 6 of Sibelius. Your best route
would probably be to see if you can get either 5.25 or at least 6 so you
would be using a version with script support.

I have been on the list for a while. I have wanted to print out my own
music for years and haven't had the funds to purchase the software. I
thought I was going to do it a couple of years ago but it wasn't meant to
be. Good news, I now have sib 7 new in box in my hand ready to install.

I am aware that sibeleus is going away sniff sniff. What do I need to do in

order to have as much functionality as possible? There used to be a phone
number in the UK office to get an older version that worked with sib access.

Can anyone give me some help here? I'm running JAWS 14 but also have
earlier versions available, and windows 7.

Thank you ahead of time for helping me make a dream come true!
