Hi there.
I'm currently notating the Beatles tune, "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds",
and I have a few questions.
1. The song has two distinct meters, one that I believe is either 3/4 or 6/8
time for the verses and the bridges, and one that is 4/4 time for the
choruses. Can Sibelius switch between those two without getting confused?
2. The song has a few tempo changes. It starts off at 120BPM for the verses,
then slowly speeds up to 125BPM for the bridges. Then when the meter changes
to 4/4, it immediately slows down to 90BPM for the choruses.
3. The song has a few instruments, which I'd like to find out how to compile
accurate notations for. There's a Lowrey organ that plays the countermelody,
a tamboura that plays a drone, a guitar, a guitar with a Leslie, a plucked
electric bass, a Hammond B3 Organ on the choruses, and drums. How do I
notate the drum lines? Would I notate them on one note? Please help!
