Haipeng, If you own a copy of Sibelius 6 and have it installed, you can use it to clean up many of these collisions automatically. You would save your Sib 5 project, close Sib 5, run Sib 6, and open the Sib 5 project in Sib 6. Then use the magnetic layout feature in the Sib 6 Layout menu. Unfortunately scripts for Sib 6 are still in beta phase, so we don't have complete access to it yet. and if you have not upgraded to Sib 6, you will need to purchase Sib 7 and then ask Avid for a downgrade to Sib 6. So, if all you have is Sib 5.2.5, you will need to adjust things yourself by giving more room for your lyrics and expressions text by limiting the number of staves you place on each page, and perhaps using the engraving rules to give more "buffer" around the various elements. Or get sighted help when you are near completion. David G. I'd like Sibelius to do the reposition itself, like Lilypond, otherwise everytime I have to ask a sighted people for assistance. Is there a way to let Sibelius layout the music correctly automatically? Below is the link to the song file, and if any of you have sight, you can try to look at the score to see whether the problem can be solved by Sibelius itself. The texts and lyrics are Chinese, but I believe language is not the cause of this problem. http://www.darajan2.com/douban/Haipeng/zhonghua.sib Regards Haipeng If you wish to unsubscribe, send a blank message with the single word, unsubscribe - in the Subject line to: sib-access-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx If you wish to unsubscribe, send a blank message with the single word, unsubscribe - in the Subject line to: sib-access-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx
