Dan,
Is there a way to change the instrument on a staff? In Sib 3 with Sib
Speaking I could do this in the instrument dialog (press "I" in the track
view). In Sib 5 the same dialog does not seem to have an option to change
the MIDI port being used, and therefore affect the patches.
Another place where Sib 3 had control over the patch and MIDI port was in
the mixer dialog. Can that be scripted in Sib 5 to be accessible? That might
be the better opportunity.
