Hi Ray Sounds like a candidate for Sonnet Lite, which is free. But that's a full-wave analysis which may not be necessary for such a small part. If you're working at, say 500Mbit/s, you might need information up to say, 2.5 GHz to include 5th harmonic. I guess you have 3 metal layers: 1. the jumper conductor (top) 2. the track, including the track the jumper jumps over 3. the bottom metal ground plane Is that structure right? The worst part is the proximity of layer1 to layer 2. You might want to mount the jumper upside-down, so that the film deposition is not right next to the copper. To be accurate, you end up with a 4-port network with 5 terminals including ground. The model depends on the board and track properties and dimensions. There is capacitive coupling between to the under-path, but not inductive coupling, because the currents are perpendicular.
