[SI-LIST] problem with posting

Hmmmm..... somewhere along the line a "[1]" is being added to my links. 
Here is the line that was sent:

just posted it at: http://emcesd.com/tt2011/tt060811.htm

compared to the one I received:

just posted
it at:http://emcesd.com/tt2011/tt060811.htm[1]

Any thoughts on how this happens? Does not seem to happen over at the 
emc-pstc list.

Separately, has anyone noticed the slight change I made in the site? 
Changed one element that has been the same since 1999.
