Hi, Kelvin, Impedance analyzer can be used to test input impedance at certain port of a PCB/PCA if the equipment can cover the frequency range you are interested. You can also calculate the input impedance by perform 1-port or 2-port S-parameter measurement using network analyzer. Same for measuring transfer impedance on PCB/PCA. You may find this paper helpful if you decide to use S-parameter to calculate PCB/PCA impedance. How should I test the impedance of: 1) Bare PCB 2) Populated PCB. What test equipment is required? How do I calculate the acceptable parameters for the design? If this is too general then please point me to relevant reading.
