Candidate will understand and master technologies specific to Signal
Integrity analysis.  Can convey technical solutions for areas of competence
both to other engineers and to business personnel.  Works with engineering
team to develop final product solution for chosen architecture within time
and cost constraints.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties
may be assigned.

? Analyze and simulate Signal Integrity of Printed Circuit Boards using
Electrical Engineering Computer Aid Design systems, simulation tools,
techniques and methodologies.
? Develop printed circuit board layout design guidelines.
? Timing analysis of complex digital circuits and interfaces
? Support development and utilization of processes for electrical hardware
requirement analysis and documentation
? Participate in all elements of design engineering including reviews and
design verification
? Provide mentoring to the electrical engineering team with respect to
signal integrity issues and solutions
? Support product analysis and development by incorporating fixes into
subsequent revisions in a timely manner
? Provide leadership in identification and mitigation of relevant signal
integrity technical risks affecting overall project plans and schedules
? Stay abreast of the latest technology and techniques to provide designs
that are competitive and cost effective.
? Use  knowledge and expertise to explore and support new business
opportunities
? Provide designs that not only meet customer's criteria but also
standard organizations requirements, industry standards related to high
quality, cost effective designs and manufacturability
? Development and utilization of processes for system architecture
documentation and development
? Support the Development and utilization of processes for system
requirements analysis, documentation structure and requirements management.
? Support management in identifying internal and external resources to
support product development.
? Provide support and mentoring to team in technical expertise of product
and system area of design.
? Act in system architecture and engineer role throughout the entire
development life cycle. This will potentially encompass responsibilities
across similar family of products.
? Provide mentoring to team in supporting and driving appropriate design
processes.
? Lead the development and implementation of platform and product
architectures in collaboration with senior technical staff.
? Guide and oversee the development of system component requirements,
interfaces, and specifications necessary to maintain the consistency and
integrity of the architectures.
? Manage product design and documentation at a system level.
? Provide leadership for project cross-functional teams necessary to
perform technology studies, product feasibility studies, high level design,
component specification and acquisition, and other coordinated project team
activities.
? Lead and participate in all elements of design engineering including
design reviews and design verification.
? Ensure that the engineering department design flow processes and
procedures are followed.
? Provide leadership in identification and mitigation of technical project
risks, technical and integration dependencies affecting overall project
plans and schedules.
? Perform independent research and engineering studies.
? Lead remote development teams ? currently in Shanghai.
? Effectively lead multiple projects in parallel.
? Comply and follow all procedures within the company security and safety
policies.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

? 4 years of experience in the design of high speed digital circuits and
subsystems
? 4 years experience in the development of printed circuit board layout
design guidelines
? Experience solving Signal Integrity issues for high speed, high
performance systems
? Experience in high speed backplane designs
? 2 years experience in Synopsys HSPICE
? 2 years experience in Ansoft HFSS
? 2 years experience in Agilent ADS
? 2 years experience in Cadence PCBSI
? Experience with high speed microprocessors and interfaces to include: 2
years experience in Dual Data Rate (DDR, DDR2, DDR3), 2 years experience in
Peripheral Component Interconnect express (PCIe), 1 year experience in
Universal Serial Bus (USB, USB2.0); Experience in Ethernet to include: 2
years experience in 10/100/1000Mb and 1 year experience in 40Gb, 2 year
experience in Hyperlink; 1 year experience in Fiberchannel (FC 2G, 4G);
Experience in timing analysis of complex printed circuit boards and  systems
? Experience with board layout Electromagnetic Interference suppression
techniques
? Experience in high speed circuit board design, design for
manufacturability, and able to perform timing analysis for logic design.
? Knowledge of solving signal integrity issues for high-speed, high
performance systems. Experience in high speed backplane design, and in
SPICE simulation.
? Understanding of board layout EMI suppression techniques.
? Electrical verification of PCB & product integration.
? Experience in Cadence Allegro, Orcad and Mentor is preferred.

Job Requirements
3 years experience in Signal Integrity analysis with an Engineering Master
Degree or 6 years with a Bachelor degree.
