rapidly shirking silicon nodes are forcing IO & system designers to follow
higher speed demands, adopt, assimilate and advance further..
The goal-post keeps changing. :)

Isn't it amazing how fast we have gotten very fast and are seeming to take
it for granted!

high frequencies by saying
6 GHz? 8-) That's practically down close to DC by now, isn't it?
;-)
Lee, did you realize that it's actually been ~15 years ago now that I was
working on that 13 Gbit/6.5 GHz backplane with you? That was waaaaay back
when 6 Ghz was fairly cutting edge, and we had to build that connector test
board to find one good backplane connector (out of 4 we tested) for running
at that speed. It's a lot easier to do that speed now.
A lot of projects I work with these days are in the 40-75 GHz range.

There are a lot of vendors available especially for 6 Ghz which is not
such a high frequency.
looks at proceedings and exhibitors of workshops like BITS to get some
names and then contact the vendors to get the details.

Hi Group ,parasitics & shouldgive fairly accurate results , when these IC's are
We are looking for good quality IC sockets ( DC - 6 Ghz ) for the
Packages like WLCSP , BGA & QFN .These sockets should have minimal
tested .
Pls forward the details of any known IC socket vendors .Vendor should------------------------------------------------------------------
provide Transmission line model of the IC sockets .
Thanks again in advance .
