Hi Bala,

Although you don't say how closed your eyes are on the links that are working,
by your own admission all of your links fail to meet spec. Generally, specs
don't tell you the point at which all of your receivers will fail. Specs only
tell you the point at which all of your receivers will pass. So it doesn't seem
surprising to me that for non-compliant channels two ports might work and two
might not even on the same device.

Subject: [SI-LIST] Serdes Tuning

Hi All,
I have four 10G SFP link in my design.Among four two are woking fine even
though the measured eye at the device pin violating the XFI
specification. However, other two ports are failing and the eye is completely
closed. The channel length, serdes setting, layer, trace geometry are same for all
the channels.Yet,only two ports are failing,What could be the reason?

Regards
Bala
