Hi Nitin,
AC coupling capacitors are useful not only when the bias voltage of 
driver and receiver are different, but also when their reference are 
not exacctly the same.
If you connect two different systems with a cable the refernce ground 
could be a different level. Due to this difference the receiver of 
one side can see a signal with a not correct bias level, putting the 
AC coupling capacitors the bias level is generated near the receiver 
and the receivers see tthe signal with a correct bias level.
