Subject: [SI-LIST] A question for the group

SI Collegues:

I have always tried to stay at the cutting edge of high speed design=20
techniques that address EMC and SI problems in a cost-effective manner.
I=20
have attempted to slow down my consulting activity over the past three
years=20
with an eye on "retirement," but new and exciting tasks have continued
to=20
whet my appetite and I have fallen prey to their challenges. Therefore,
I=20
have decided that true retirement is still a few years off.

I am seriously thinking of gathering all my older work and melding it
with my=20
current high-speed work to produce a new tutorial (or two). I would be=20
updating the old presentation material (using PowerPoint), adding new
design=20
technique refinements commensurate with the ongoing improvements in
software=20
analysis tools, and including some dynamic simulations/demonstrations
(for=20
both SI and radiated emissions effects). I have also just completed some
new=20
work in circumventing the exclusive use of Ansoft and H-SPICE, et al,
for=20
accurate modeling and simulation of multiple coupled T-lines (including=20
adjacent layer traces and frequency-dependent losses caused by skin
effect=20
and dielectric losses). I am considering a paper for DesignCON 2003 on
this=20
topic.

FINALLY, THE QUESTION: Do you think there is reasonable interest in
still=20
another "Designing for SI/EMC" tutorial for sale?
