You may be past the time for an ultrasound as fluid starts to hide puppies
after about 30 days. Ask your vet about that. I would definitely x-ray before
whelping time. After 55 days. One thing about a whelping box is you can lay
down your bedding tight, being held down with the box sides. I don't like loose
bedding, pups can get covered up and the bitch lays down on them. Bye bye puppy.
