Another contributing factor to to remember.....a regional club is the host club
in Canada and does the work to put on the nationals.
there are not near as many clubs in Canada as in the US.

That might be because of location in Canada. It is probably the most
convenient place to hold it in such a big country. I know they go west
occasionally but don't get as big an entry. It's not as convenient to get to
from the east and mid-west. I believe we have more options of where to hold a
National in the U.S.

specialty moved to a new site, but increased when a clubs nationals were in
the same location 2-3 years in a row.
Me, I prefer to go to somewhere new, see new scenery enroute and experience
new restaurants etc. What say you all? I know Paula feels the same (who
is no longer on this list) about diversity.
