once again  keep voting those lifers in!!!!!...lol....our US congress has an
all time low rating poll...and guess what?...most of them get voted in time
after time...many of them are lifers too....will "we" ever learn....me thinks
NOT....Ed Hill...time to go to school...please pray for my poor
kids......sitting with me all day long.... that's like child abuse...lol...FB

I am surprised that so many seem to view the inability of getting a 500
into St Louis as a shock.lol  It has been that way for at least 10 years.
 In 2002
we flew in with others and our crates came in upside down. Â That was the
end of
500 crates , other than as straight cargo $$$$
It is not new and it is always a problem. Â Nowadays with the airlines
wanting
petitie bitches in 500s and big males in 700s , (follow the money trail)
flying is ridiculous. Â We can ship a bitch from Italy cheaper than flying
to the St Louis areas and back with one
  Speaking only for ourselves, we are done flying our dogs, around to shows.
Too risky, and the expense is absurd.
Driving is what most people do now...but to drive 4 or 5 days, then take a
too long WEEK to attend a show (that should take three days) and drive
back...who has the time and money for it?
  This is the dilemma faced by 1/3 of the country right now...for the next
3 years after Philly.
Please those of you that live within a day's drive, spare me, how wonderful
the site is, too.
Of course it is, if you are nearby.
  But it simply is not equitable for ANY part of the country
to have the National in one place. Â It would be unfair if it were held in
the Western US for three years
as well. Â Rotation was what the membership wanted. Â We may have to "GASP",
change our ideas
on what constitutes a site, and we really need to think about getting back
to just putting on a
dog show without all the parades, etc. Â It is not a debutante ball, it is
a dog show,, time
we start remembering that.
