Very well said Kay! Hopefully it will make people think about what is
important. It's not breeding to the big winner of the moment but breeding to
the dog that will do the best for your bitch and your breeding program. If
that dog turns out to be the big winner great - if not then the search should
be on.
I especially loved your comment "study, ask questions, watch and listen". I've
done this since the 1970's and still do today. Knowledge is the most important
thing to gain. Agree or disagree you can always learn something from someone
else.

In other words, there are too many variables that come into play to
obtain these titles...MONEY, ADVERTISING, INFLUENTIAL HANDLERS, ETC.
There are TOP Dogs that are average in quality and there are top quality
dogs that go unnoticed. What is import is to pay less attention to titles
and to pay more attention to what animals complement your breeding program...
study, ask questions, watch and listen.
