PRIVATE???? I wonder how the other Breed Club's were able to turn Hunte
down??? I read that some did. I do NOT KNOW that as a FACT....I just read
it
in someone's post to this List, and it appeared more than once...
So, I just wondered how they got around accepting his Membership??? If so,
were any of them sued?? IF INDEED that is TRUE that he had been denied
Membership in other (not specified in the posts) ) Breed Clubs... Barb w.
Barb--Maybe those club's Boards didn't have a Problem with the way
endorsements are mentioned in their bylaws and P&P without having those
endorsement requirements on the application form.
If you want to put the blame of why the Board couldn't out of hand refuse
admittance to this applicant, put the culpability on the folks whose
responsibility it was to follow the removal of endorsements to its full
extension.
After that -- Talk to the people who supported him getting a membership.
Done with this conversation -- Really hope that the Yes Voters say why they
voted the way they did - but it's not going to make any difference. It's
done... let's move on and get things fixed -- put endorsers back on the
application, make new members apply the old way, and then lets change the
bylaws so we don't allow membership privileges until the applicant has gone
through the entire process.
