Need listers' help. Our bitch has been diagnosed as having pyometria. Of course, the vet wanted to spay her immediately. We took her to Texas A&M where they confirmed the diagnosis but did not offer any protocals for treatment. Perhaps they are sending a report to the local vet. In the meantime, I would very much like to hear what some of you know about this. Fairly recently there was a post about saving a bitch without spaying. We will do whatever is needed to save her but hope there is something other than the spay. Also, does anyone know Dr. Hutchinson's phone number ? Thanks for your help.
