I could not agree more. While I don't want to turn this into a
German/American thing, I love reading their reports/critiques.
I've judged in many foreign countries,So America. Finland,and So Africa
etc,that require you to critique every dog you judge. They have a printed
spread
sheet that they show you the night before,so you can see how it'd done. I've
done it two ways,but it is always done with the dog in from of you. I
personally have filled it out,or some of the clubs have a secretary in ring to
either fill it out as you dictate for the form,or if you have something
particular
to speak about. After the breed is done,you get to check your sheet for any
mistakes,and the sign it
Obviously it's not done in USA shows ,other than Nationals,and some
specialties, because of AKC Time limits in judging. But it does take time.
But I
also remember judging a few Canadian Specialties that you vocally critiqued
the winners after the show. As I understand, the ones in the Review were
discontinued ,because,they were becoming so generic ,and more importantly.
with
the people who were NOT attending that show to view the competitin,it was
