Then I would question the final determination......
unless the hips are ma de of titanium, they would
have to respond physically to daily subluxation......I do not believe that
an animal could go through daily lif e for two years and not show
some response to the femoral head sliding in and out of the
acetabulum.
I have had many Vets question the evaluations that the OFA does.....
it's sort of like judging dogs.....there is a written standard for all to
judge by but we all have different opinions.

Not always true. I know of several GSDs who had subluxation checked and
nothing else.

If relaxation were the only indication I might agree with you but......
any dog with laxity would also have physical changes in the skeletal
anatomy....remodeling of the femoral head and acetabulum and thickening
of the femoral neck. Also, the depth of the acetabulum cannot be changed
with anesthesia.
