The only thing I'd add to this is: Refuse to **knowingly** sell, donate, ... Yes everyone does their research and tries to do right, but even the best research can be flawed and it would be wrong to blackball someone who innocently sold a dog to someone else who brokered, etc. (ie, they could have been lied to, or were given a good recommendation by someone else they knew, etc.). I like the addition of research laboratories.
