At one time the Futurities were not worth more than competing at a dog
show. And at one time Futurities were fun and breeders brought out
their young puppies.
The competition was truer then! ( I think.)

Amateurs like I believe Bob Rogers was to golf? The Master's Golf
Tournament creator. Very much the same as the handlers in Australia who
handle only for the love of it.... no pay... true Amateur Status. It's a
wonder.
