Yes SIDEWAYS rain...flash flood warnings in LA

We had it Saturday. I was driving West and the rain was coming so fast and
so heavy I couldn't see 6" in front of my windshield with the wipers set on
"NUKE".
People were just stopping in the "middle" of the road and others we
blissfully driving fast and dodging them with glee. I got offa dat road in a
hurry.
I consider myself lucky to be alive...
