The dogs will think we moved to California! Tedi and I went to the Rose Parade today. The first person I met was a young girl with a Golden. We pet the dog and she told us it was a bomb detecting dog, and we watched her circulate through the crowd. The parade was great, but it was in a driving rain, and cold. I think it was about 45 for most of the parade. The poor kids in skimpy outfits in the bands, were doing a terrific job. The all girl band from Japan, and the Hawaii band from Pearl were my favorites. I thought the dog show in Lexington was rough, but as soon as we were soaked through, it no longer mattered. The rain was just another part of the parade. I thought everyone was having a great time, and the kids didn't even seem to notice the weather. I am ready for an outside national in Nome. Bring it on.
