Helen: Many years ago before I had to stop handling GSD's I said I would
never be without a sable bitch even if it were only a pet. Guess what. I
went over 10 year without one. Thanks to Paul and Jen Root, after over 10
years of showing and finishing several Aussie's, because I couldn't keep up
with the big dogs, and handlers, anymore. We had no GSD's in the house. I
now have the most beautiful sable bitch I have ever had.....there have been
a few, but this one is very special. She is very close to finishing, but I
could care less. I love all 3 of our Aussie's 2 CH's and one twit There is
no dog that steals a heart like a GSD.

It has been several years since my arms have held a GSD in my home.
Instead, I have embraced
3 rescue kitties. Now, about to move, I ask myself, am I to old? I long
for a GSD,
how could I not! But at the age of 68, am I to old? I would have to
believe that I will live
in good health and strength until age 81. Is that fair? Since both
parents were gone by
the age of 65, I am already on borrowed time. I must make this decision in
the next 30
days........and oh how my heart longs for a dog.....from my nose to my
toes............Guess I will
let the man upstairs make that decision for me. Hope he finds a place that
allows big dogs!
