Well - I breed dogs using both American and German lines and participate in
both conformation and performance (and believe both are important). But I do
not do white or any other serious or disqualifying fault.

Part of the problems are: ( and these are generalizations so do not jump all
over me. )
We have been divided by our breeds versatility.
There are the herding people....
There are the performance people....
There are the conformation people....
There are the German lines ( or other imported ) people....
There are the white people ( or other colors)
Few cross the line into the other factions when breeding or showing. Those that
do are to be commended.
Then there are those who are so sick of the political BS in and out of the ring
that they do not belong to or compete anymore within the GSDCA.
OK....how do we fix it?
We have created our own problems.
