I can only comment on shoulders from the aspect of judging other breeds....
and preparing to apply for new breeds......
Ignoring poor fronts, thinking that they can be "bred back" at a future date,
is a terrible mistake. I have spent 5 years now attending judges education and
getting ringside mentoring in Boxers and Dobes....ask any of these folks what
they think about front assemblies and they will tell you they have lost them and
they have no where to go to get them back.
GSD still have some options.......but I see many rewarded that are poorly built.
It is the judges obligation to maintain the structure of this breed.....if
correct
structure is rewarded, the breeder/exhibitor will follow the example.
